Pediatric neurology department at Vatsalya Shishu Hospital offers detailed evaluation, diagnosis and management of a wide spectrum of neurological disorders of both neonates and children. 

Neonatal neurological disorders like neonatal seizures, Hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (delayed cry after birth), meningitis (brain infection), intra-cranial haemorrhage. Hope NICU also has therapeutic cooling facility for neonates with hypoxia during birth (who did not cry during and after birth). 

Department also offers diagnosis and management of varied neurological diseases of children like all types of epilepsy, Guillain Barre syndrome, all types of myopathies, developmental delay, floppy infant, neurodegenerative disorder, cognitive disorders etc.

Unit also deals with all types of head trauma along with team efforts of pediatric neurosurgeon, pediatric intensivist, pediatric surgeon and pediatric orthopedician to give the best chances of survival in children.
